Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m going to be working at SELS (SIM English Language School) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for 3 months.
Having just completed my TESOL course, I’m going to be joining an existing team of teachers who cater for different levels of study in a relaxed and informal environment.
SELS classes are small, with a mix of cultures and backgrounds, and there is a real emphasis on friendship evangelism and discipleship. Regular 'Christianity Explored' courses are run, and various activities are organized throughout the terms.
My time there will be spent teaching, building relationships with students and supporting the rest of the team. I can’t wait to get out there and become part of the team!
