Members of Woodgreen Evangelical Church in Worcester recently raised £1,124 for SIM-UK by participating in a fundraising triathlon.

The group of 12 completed a 1 kilometre swim, followed by a 5 km run/walk and then a 10 km cycle ride.

They chose to designate the funds they raised for SIM to help with the Pastors Book Set (PBS) project, which provides Christian books and reference materials for pastors and church leaders around the world (Ethiopia PBS project no. is 92027).

Their gift will also provide bicycles for pastors in Ghana (project no. 94020), who typically have to travel long distances on foot.

Through this event, the church members also raised an equal amount for OMS International, to help provide milk for babies in Haiti whose mothers are too ill to breastfeed.
