Forty-five percent of the population of Ghana is under 15 years old. There is huge potential for reaching these young people who are often very receptive. SIM Ghana already has children's and youth ministries, such as Sunday school classes, Vacation Bible Schools, Bible teaching in schools, and Good News Clubs, but would like to see more being done with children, and our partner church has asked for help in developing this area. In any of these ministries, you would work closely with local believers. There is also great potential for outreach to older children and youth in secondary schools through friendship evangelism, sports, etc.
