People with developmental delays and physical disabilities in Kenya are ostracized and hidden away, rarely given the opportunity to realize and enjoy personal success or meaningful relationships. Your ministry would depend particularily on your skills as a speech therapist, physical therapist, behavioural specialist, caretaker, or administrator.
You will have an opportunity to share your knowledge with your co-workers and to advocate for this marginalized corner of society in churches and in the community. You will have the privilege of sharing the love of Christ and helping them to see the inherent value they have as children of God, specially created.
