Malawi is being devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Nearly 16% of adults is infected with the HIV virus; in the cities the rates are 25-40%. In its wake, the epidemic has orphaned over 400,000 children. The epidemic offers tremendous opportunities for the Gospel.
In order to impact the AIDS crisis in Malawi, a laboratory technician is needed at the Partners in Hope medical clinic. This is an immediate need, to replace the current post-holder who will leave in a few months time. Partners in Hope clinic specializes in HIV/AIDS but offers a broad spectrum of laboratory testing. Time will be allowed to explore additional ministry opportunities as God leads.
