Would you like to make a significant difference in the lives of students and in the future of Nigeria? You will in your role of Hillcrest School Superintendent!
Hillcrest is an international Christian school catering to the children of missionaries, influential Nigerians, and other expatriates. Operating an American curriculum, it offers classes from kindergarten to grade 12. A full range of academics and sports is offered. You will provide leadership for this instititution, setting the spiritual and academic tone. You will also be responsible for sound financial management and the long range academic and physical development of the school.
As Superintendent, you represent the school to the wider Nigerian community, many of whom seek to educate their children at Hillcrest, and to the expatriate community, whose social life revolves around Hillcrest's activities.
You will, therefore, have the appropriate mix of qualifications and experience to administer and teach in a school of about 200 to 250 children. You will be able to relate across the board to children and parents from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds. You will also be comfortable representing the school in the wider community, including senior government levels.
At the same time, you will seek to promote its Christian ethos and philosophy of education. In so doing, you will be able to minister to the lives of a wide range of people from committed Christians to those of other religions.
Here is your chance to impact the future leaders of Nigeria and, at the same time, to help other missionaries reach Nigeria for Christ. What better combination could there be?
