As the counsellor, you will assist students with academic, emotional, psychological, and social counselling. These students come from a wide range of religious, ethnic, and national backgrounds. Therefore, working in this position, you will have considerable opportunity to minister to the lives and homes of children from missionary, other expatriate, and significant Nigerian backgrounds.
You will need to have the appropriate mix of qualifications and experience to counsel and advise administration, staff, students, and parents in a school of about 200 to 250 children. You will be able to relate across the board to children and parents from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds. At the same time, you will seek to promote its Christian ethos and philosophy of education. In so doing, you will be able to minister to the lives of a wide range of people from committed Christians to those who follow other religions.
