This is an equipping ministry to enable leaders at ECWA Hospital Egbe to revitalize the hospital and Eye Care Clinic, and develop high standards of health care delivery. Medical ministry has been an essential tool for evangelism in Nigeria and continues to impact many lives through the ministry of the hospital and Eye Care Clinic. The addition of SIM medical consultants to the medical staff broadens the opportunities for mission impact in the region. This mentoring ministry will also support other SIM consultant doctors and their families at Egbe.

In your role, you would help provide basic ophthalmology services; diagnose and provide medical and surgical treatment of eye disorders and diseases; assist in overseeing the Eye Care Centre, giving guidance on improvement of eye care delivery; work in consultation with Christian Blind Services to obtain supplies and equipment; provide instruction and mentorship to Nigerian optometrists and ophthalmologists in training; work in collaboration with hospital leadership to provide holistic delivery of health care services; incorporate Eye Care Centre mandate with the hospital's objective to deliver services to the community.
