SIM Nigeria is helping the church reach out to its vast population through medical care of street kids, orphans in communities of those who are deprived--widows, blind, and prostitutes. Some have come to know the Lord. By using medicine to reach them, you will help us reach the urban lost, disciple the youth, and care for the poor and needy. City Ministries of EMS [the missionary branch of ECWA (CME)] has developed Care Centers to house, disciple, and educate orphans and former street kids.
You would work alongside the Health Care Coordinator for City Ministries providing health care for several Care Center clinics doing vaccinations, training staff and children in health education and basic first aid, looking after the children, staff and their families, and some from nearby villages. You would also help the children of ECWA's missionaries and provide medical outreach to local communities. This would involve a good amount of traveling around Jos and other parts of the country.
