Are you a trained physiotherapist who would like to use your skills in ministry? Do you have some counseling or administrative skills? We could put them to good use here in Bangladesh in our Community Resources Development Project.
The Kushtia Development Program (KDP) will provide assistance, training, and resource development in a variety of areas, including physical therapy. There is a general lack of affordable physiotherapy services within Kushtia town. We anticipate that physiotherapy services will be provided primarily to those who are currently unable to afford it and will include stroke victims, diabetic patients, accident patients, and speech therapy patients.
We also anticipate that the package of services that is provided to the Kushtia community will include counseling with family members on the relevant technical and social areas associated with the development of the patient. Through the use of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and family counseling, we will enable people to fulfill the true potential that God has planned for them.
