The Children's Uplift Programme in Dhaka, Bangladesh ministers to some of the most vulnerable members of society, young people and children, especially girls, from poor communities who are at risk of becoming sex workers.
The project is located in Dhaka, one of the world's most rapidly growing megacities.
The social worker/counselor at CUP will be part of a team of professionals providing physical, educational, and emotional support to street children or other children at risk in Dhaka. The social worker/counselor will be expected to work with the team to bring positive changes in these childrens lives. Their main role will be to be part of the development of the project, adding to the professional knowledge of the team and providing support for the team.
