Here in Bangladesh, our computers are in desperate need of some TLC and the field personnel is in desperate need of less computer issues. There are times when it seems we spend most of our time dealing with side issues rather than ministry; i.e., computer problems. This is why we are looking for someone who is willing to spend some time in the amazing city of Dhaka dealing specifically with computer set up and maintenance.
Your job would include purchasing, setting up, and maintaining computer networks for SIM offices, taking queries, and giving advice related to IT. This could include training staff on computer usage, as well. Extra tasks would include setting up websites and updating them for certain projects, such as Children's Uplift Program and Community Development Project.
