After years of opposition to the gospel, the Hindu background Marwari people are now much more open to hear the good news. SIM has the freedom to work in a huge geographical area alongside national colleagues.
You would relate closely with the Marwari Church Planting project in which leadership training is given by running monthly seminars and by working alongside national colleagues in the field. The emphasis is on helping local lay leaders to establish and run house churches. It is also necessary to participate in joint SIM/church leadership committee meetings and liaise with other related projects such as Rural Education which complement this ministry.
