You can help one of our Indian Christian partners make a difference in some of the poorest regions in India. Our partner is serving impoverished communities through medical, community health, and community development ministries.
Depending on your passion, skill set, and qualifications, you can work with our Indian partner in one of various locations to help develop primary health care programs, work with children in children's health and hygiene clubs, community based programs for disabled children, microenterprise groups, adolescent life skills groups, agricultural training, women's literacy groups, sanitation, HIV and AIDS prevention, community based care, and more! Projects administration, development of promotional material, donor reports, project proposal writing, impact assessment, research, and statistical analyses are all very useful skills to contribute. Training of local staff is important to ensure the continuing impact of your involvement.
Christian doctors and nurses and other health professionals with experience and passion for public health and Family Medicine are also welcome to apply. This position could also suit public health or community development intern students.
