Community Health Care Specialist

If you have expertise in community health, are ready for a challenge, and want to strengthen the Mongolian church, this could be the job for you. Your main role will be to work alongside local health workers to help educate communities how they can improve the health of their families. This means working in both urban and rural settings and making an effort to understand the local culture so that you can understand what the local needs are.

We are looking for people willing to work with and understand the Mongolian system and also willing to work in difficult climate conditions. Becoming competent in the Mongolian language will be essential as you will work closely with Mongolian health professionals to pass on your skills. Also, an understanding of the local language will help you build trust and relationships more quickly.

If you are willing to come alongside people and share your gifts and skills, wonderful opportunities will present themselves in which you can share not only your professional knowledge but also your life and faith with local communities. You will partner with local churches too and help involve the whole community in your efforts to improve the health standards of Mongolians.
