Rural areas are the last frontier of pioneer church planting in Paraguay. Many communities still have no gospel witness. SIM Paraguay is passionate about sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and planting churches in rural, Guarani-speaking areas and is looking for nurses sharing this passion who would like to serve through medical missions.
Potential opportunities for medical ministry could include volunteering in local health clinics, training local health workers and midwives, running public health education, participating in medical evangelism outreaches to outlying communities, or any combination of the above.
