Dental Assistant/ Dental Hygienist

The dental clinic ministry (Hope Dental Clinic) is a mobile clinic that brings low-cost dental care to those without access. It partners with AIDIA (The Interdenominational Association for the Holistic Development of the Apurimac) to advance the gospel and strengthen struggling churches in remote Quechua villages.

This program needs you to participate on monthly dental trips to Quechua villages near Abancay. Trips are usually 2-5 days in length and are done in conjunction with AIDIA. Also, you will be assisting or providing hygiene at Diospi Suyana Hospital in nearby Curahuasi (one and a half hour trip) two days a week, three weeks a month. While in Abancay, you will purchase needed dental materials, sterilize dental instruments, organize dental equipment for upcoming trips, help translate for AIDIA teams, and help with office work at AIDIA.
