Teaching English as a Foreign Language – many opportunities around the world

Length of term:- Short-term or longer term

Do you have a Teaching English Teaching Englishas a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification? This could be the Cambridge/RSA Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) or there's the Trinity CertTESOL (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

With these types of teaching qualifications the opportunities for working in many different countries around the world are numerous. You have the opportunity to build friendships as well as providing people with a skill that will enhance their job opportunities.

We are committed to sending Christian English teachers who can teach with excellence, and come alongside students to answer their questions and share their life and faith with them.

Responsibilities: Teaching English would be the main role, but a variety of other activities would be involved, as well. Other teachers have found incredible opportunities to share with students outside class and get involved in local fellowships.

At the university level, students may include undergraduates studying different subjects who need to study English in order to graduate. Many universities and other institutions or churches are requesting English conversation teachers. The doors are wide open, the students are waiting. Are you ready to go and see how God opens doors?!

The Person needed: You will need a TEFL qualification and a heart to reach out to people of different age groups depending on the location. Being flexible and willing to share about your own life will help you build friendships easily. Entering the country where you will serve with the attitude of a learner, and putting time into learning some of the local language and local culture, will help as you develop teaching materials that will relate to the people you will teach.
