Digital Campaigns Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our digital campaigns as we seek to mobilise more people into God's global mission.

The job will involve working as part of the communications team at Serving In Mission, but taking responsibility for our digital campaigns.

Our current campaign, HowWillTheyHear, is a collaboration between eight agencies and you would be the focal point of the campaign communications. You would liaise with other agencies to produce content but would take charge of the campaign website and social media.

As a creative person with loads of ideas for digital engagement, you would be able to find innovative ways of communicating the gospel need among refugee communities across Europe and the Middle East, as well as communicating the huge opportunities there are for gospel workers to get involved.

Your work would inspire churches to pray for these communities, to send people to work among them and to give financially to support these efforts.

You would be a key member of a small but dynamic communications team, eager to be involved and to learn more.

This is a two-year appointment, with the possibility of further extension.

This position has a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be a Christian. Accordingly, you will be an active Christian in full sympathy with Serving in Mission’s Statement of Faith and Core Values, able to work comfortably in an interdenominational evangelical environment and to sign the SIM Commitment wholeheartedly.

Awareness of or prior experience of working within a Christian missions environment is desirable.

The job will be based at our new north Cambridge office when we move there in 2019 - until then the location would be flexible and could involve a combination of home working and time at our current Suffolk headquarters.
