Why offer Alternative Gifts?
The rationale behind our Alternative Gifts is to provide an innovative way for our supporters to give unique gifts to friends and relatives, as well as providing funds for a variety of worthwhile projects around the world.
What is included in the price of the gift?
The price of the gift includes the cost of buying the gift in the relevant country. The price also includes the costs associated with processing your gift and sending the money to the right place.
What do I receive?
When you place your order, you will receive a greetings card and envelope for each gift that you order, complete with information about the project you have supported.
Do the gifts really go where you say?
Yes! Legally, we have to send the gifts to the countries and projects specified. As an organisation we are committed to this.
How quickly will the cards be sent?
When we receive your order we will process the gift and send out the card as soon as possible. The cards will be sent to you by 2nd class post.
What are your admin costs?
We don’t seek to make a profit from these gifts. SIM deducts minimal expenses to cover the costs of producing and sending the cards to you.
