The vision of these radio programmes is to reach people throughout Ethiopia, who live outside the influence of an evangelical church. So they can hear the gospel proclaimed, respond in faith, and grow in their understanding of what in means to live as a disciple of Jesus.
Radio continues to be an 
excellent way to reach all over Ethiopia with the gospel. This 'Witness' is talking to the ones that don't have a church to go to, or to ones that just like to hear their own language on the radio ... and many discover Christ in the process.
We have four ½-hour programs each week in the Amharic language. Each programme target different audiences, including children on a Saturday.
The Gurage people are estimated to number about 3 million. Most live in the southwestern part of Ethiopia. Amharic is the dominant language and Amharic speaking people live throughout Ethiopia. The programmes have both chronological and topical Bible teaching, with drama and musie incorporated in them.
Each month over 450 letters are received from listeners telling of the impact the programmes are having. A bi-monthly letter called “Prayer Waves” that contains listener letter excerpts is also sent out.

From Addis Ababa, Central Ethiopia: ''I am your listener for long time and I attend your correspondence course, my spiritual life is growing fast. In a recent time I and a few evangelist friends are going to the border of Kenya, so with the God's help we plants five churches and we return back to Addis Ababa. Please pray for the planting churches and the members.''
From Wolaita, South Ethiopia: ''I am a university student. I am listening to the radio programme. I told the other students to listen to the radio programme. Please pray for me that God give me wisdom to witness to the other students.''
From Harar, East Ethiopia: ''For 6 years I am listening to your radio programme. The songs and the messages have touched my heart. Please pray for me to be strong in my faith.”
