THANK YOU FOR PRAYING AND PARTNERING WITH SIM as our teams deliver food relief in northern Kenya!
Most other famine relief efforts have concentrated on the eastern and southeastern areas of Kenya's Northeast Province. SIM's team travelled into the less-reached northwestern side of this Province, in partnership with local church and community leaders in the north and northeast of Kenya.
Despite difficulties with the car food relief was delivered. The team was great and really pulled together. The Anglican Church of Kenya was of great
helped getting a list of those in need. The food that was leftover was left with the pastor in charge for the distribution of some needy people that were coming a long distance to receive it. We also had food with us to give along the way as there are many in the bush areas who are on no one’s list of the needy. We found many along the road, walking, asking for a little water. So next time we will give a little water too.
