Food Relief Mile

Retired SIM missionary, Pat Morgan, walks a mile for Food Aid in Danja

Niger Pat Morgan

SIM-UK retiree Pat Morgan is raising funds for the vital food relief project at CSL Danja. Pat suffered a severe stroke four years ago, but is determinedly working to regain more mobility. Combining her desire to support the ministry at Danja, where she worked for many years, with her pursuit of increased mobility, Pat is planning a one mile sponsored walk in mid-April.

Inspiration from Sport Relief gave Pat the idea. Although she can with care walk with a stick, she is much happier with her wheeled tripod which has a seat for rests. What Pat is attempting is no mean feat.

To encourage Pat, send her a message using the comments section below. Or make a donation to Danja Food Aid using our secure online facility via the link in the right hand column.

19 April
Hello Pat, Best wishes and prayers for the 19th. I'm getting on a bit too, but can remember the Board meeting when we confirmed your selection for Niger; a great decision by both parties! Seems like you have not changed a bit - in spirit! 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18
Warm regards,
