The camp season is almost upon us. With your help last year we were able to raise enough scholarships to send 1,385 young people to Sports Friends camps across Africa and Asia. That’s 1,385 young people who were able to experience and hear about the life-changing love of Jesus Christ - impacting their own lives, their families’ lives, and even entire communities. Praise God!
If you’ve ever been to camp you’ll know that the camp experience can give us some of the best memories of our childhoods. But what if a camp could do more than that? What if a camp could bring real life change?
That is the goal of all of our Sports Friends camps. Not only do we aim to give young people all the joy that goes along with camp - sports, fun, games, crafts, swimming, dramas, singing and teaching about Christ’s love – but we also seek to mentor, nurture and disciple them when they return home to their communities.
