On behalf of Caiphas Ngarivhume - Thank you!

caiphas ngarivhumeWe would like to say a very big thank you to all those who so kindly welcomed Caiphas into their churches or prayer groups while he was here in the UK in May. A big thank you to Ben and Ann-Sylvie Dwornik, SIM volunteers from France who drove Caiphas around, especially on the 600 mile trip, from Reading to Southampton to Caerphilly. In Caerphilly they all experienced their first full English breakfast and have photos to prove it!

Caiphas’ humble spirit was evident where ever he went. The passion for the work and the difference that he and his volunteers make in people’s lives in Zimbabwe was a real encouragement. Thank you for your part in this and enabling Caiphas and his team to continue.

On his day off, one Saturday, he had time to meet up with many Zimbabweans who are now here in the UK. Among them were students he had taught many years ago. This was such an encouragement to him.

There were other encouragements too with the possibility of a team from Northern Ireland going out to Zimbabwe in 2011, and two physiotherapists offering to use their skills to train volunteers involved in Hope for AIDS ministry.
