We have partnerships with churches throughout the UK and across the world and are always working to improve our service and to build more.
We have a range of ways churches can partner with us — and a range of resources we can provide to help churches engage more fully with God's global mission.
Become a prayer partner
'People of prayer' and 'Dependent on God' are two of Serving In Mission’s core values. Prayer is the foundation of our ministry and partnerships. By prayer we praise God, seek his direction, depend on God and call upon the Holy Spirit to empower our ministries. We value the prayers of the UK churches and have various resources available to support you in praying for SIM:
Our annual prayer guide (right) offers a day-by-day focus on the countries of the world, with details of ministries, needs and prayer requests. You can download a digital version here or email Linda Hunt, our prayer coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org) to request a hard copy.
We produce monthly powerpoint presentations, coupled with a downloadable pdf of prayer points, to pray for specific countries.

If my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray and seek
my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven, and I will
forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Become a sending partner
We work together with churches to fulfil God’s mission by supporting the sending and receiving of missionaries to places where there is no gospel witness. We have five key routes into mission, which cover everything from short-term trips to long-term mission.
Our Engage programme brings overseas workers into UK churches, to share the gospel with cross-cultural communities living in Britain. OUr Equip programme is designed to prepare UK workers for service in their local church, by sending them overseas to learn the language and the culture of the cross-cultural community they wish to serve.

Daphne Kabeberi is our first Engage mission worker. Sent by her church in Nairobi, she is working at Niddrie Community Church in Edinburgh and reaching out to people from many nationalities and cultures who live near the church. Click here to read more of her story.
Our short-term teams programme, Explore, can really help galvanise your church's heart for mission. Click here to see the impact of a short-term trip to Ethiopia on a church in Essex.
