Immerse: Our mission internship programme

Use your training and experience from university, work or church to meet gospel needs alongside experienced cross-cultural workers. Be mentored to help you grow as a disciple and develop your skills for whatever direction God takes you in the future.

What and when?

Immerse is a one- or two-year mission internship programme designed for people aged 18-30 and starting in September each year. It is suitable for anyone taking a gap year between school and university, or after university.

September: Four weeks' residential training at Serving in Mission’s UK office covering practical preparations, alongside in-depth exploration of God’s character and his word; developing a Christian worldview; cross-cultural issues; and personal discipleship.

Learn from each other as well as from experienced trainers as together we apply the Bible to areas of personal, practical, cultural and spiritual concern, equipping you not just for the placement ahead but for your ongoing Christian journey.
