Primary School Teacher

Are you a primary school teacher who is up for the challenge of using your skills to help both missionaries and Beninese? The Benin field has a need for a primary or elementary teacher to teach a small group of missionary children, enabling their parents to be fully involved in their other ministries. As this would not be an "all-day" position, the teacher would also be encouraged to share in training Beninese teachers in national schools.
Today thousands of children sit in Benin's classrooms. Tomorrow many will sit in positions of leadership in this land. How will they lead? With courtesy, grace, justice, and integrity such as they learnt in school from their Christian teacher? This two-fold position is for a teacher who is learning what it means to acknowledge Christ as Lord of the classroom and to honour Him in all aspects of classroom life. The potential impact is immeasurable!
In addition to teaching missionary children, there are opportunities to observe Beninese teachers in their classrooms, to support and encourage them, and to creatively enrich their lessons. There are also opportunities to attend the annual Christian worldview teacher training seminars and to help in shorter workshops outside of school hours.
